Why is paint leaking from the nozzle or the rim of the paint container?
Check the container seal ring, tighten the container securely, and make sure the nozzle needle seal is undamaged.
Container Gasket Seal Inspection
Inspect the white silicone gasket inside the container collar. If it is pinched, warped, or coated with dried paint crust, air leaks out and paint seeps along the rim. Clean or replace the gasket.
Nozzle Needle Seal Failure
If paint drips from the front nozzle tip when the trigger is released, the needle seal washer may be missing or worn, preventing complete closure against fluid pressure.
Preventive Assembly Best Practices
Never over-torque the plastic threads. Thread the container by hand until snug. Always keep the gun upright when setting it down on flat surfaces.
